Summer Camp
With the help of Sierra Nevada Journeys and The Nature Conservancy, youth from Reno Housing Authority have the opportunity to attend summer camp at Grizzly Creek Ranch near Portola, Calif. Youth stay at the camp for six days and five nights learning how to fish, build shelters, develop archery skills, experience hands-on environmental science and much more. This incredible opportunity allows youth to experience the great outdoors at no cost to their families. The Helen Close Charitable Foundation generously offers a number of scholarships to RHA youth each summer.
