RHA Launches New Service Kiosk in Downtown Reno Library

The Reno Housing Authority (RHA) is proud to cut the ribbon on a new service kiosk in the Downtown Reno Library. The kiosk enables those applying to, or receiving services from the RHA to access information, forms, and more at their convenience and from a central location in Washoe County.

Kiosk users can fill out RHA forms, scan documents and submit them directly to the Housing Authority as well as access Rent Café, RHA’s online client portal. Applicants and residents can also use the kiosk to apply for assistance when waitlists are open, update household information, pay rent online, submit a maintenance request, and more. Other services offered through the kiosk include access to Nevada 211, where users can find other helpful resources in the community, and access to RHA’s website, where users can find the most up-to-date information regarding all things RHA.

“RHA is constantly looking for new ways to expand our services and make them more accessible to both clients and community members,” says Dr. Hilary Lopez, RHA executive director. “RHA is proud to provide the community with new and innovative ways to access our services.”

Locating the kiosk in the heart of downtown Reno provides an additional option for those who cannot easily get to RHA’s main office. The Downtown Reno Library is already a hub for information in our area, and RHA is proud to partner with the Washoe County Library System on this additional resource.
