Hawk View
Originally constructed by RHA in 1984, Hawk View Apartments are a Public Housing property consisting of 100 2-bedroom units. To preserve this important housing asset and increase the supply of low-income affordable housing in the community, RHA has decided to redevelop the property. In partnership with Brinshore Development, RHA will redevelop this property under Section 18 of the U.S. Housing Act of 1937. Existing building/units will be demolished, and up to 200 units of modern low-income affordable housing will be constructed on the site. This project represents an investment of an estimated $75 million for affordable housing in the community.
Silverada Manor
Originally constructed in 1963, Silverada Manor is a 150-unit Public Housing site serving seniors and people living with disabilities. To ensure that Silverada Manor can provide safe and high-quality affordable housing to current and future residents, RHA has decided to redevelop the property. In partnership with Brinshore Development, RHA will redevelop this property under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program, and its innovative new RAD/Section 18 blended conversion to transform 150 units from a public housing platform to a Section 8 Project based platform. This project represents an investment of an estimated $65 million for affordable housing in the community.
McGraw Court
Originally constructed in 1995, John McGraw Court is a 34-unit Public Housing site. To ensure that John McGraw Court can provide safe and high- quality affordable housing to current and future residents, RHA has decided to renovate the property. RHA will renovate this property and substantially rehabilitate all 34 units, and the adject 16 units at Silver Sage Court. This project represents an investment of an estimated $7 million for affordable housing in the community.
Stead Manor
Originally constructed in 1982, Stead Manor is a 68-unit Public Housing site. To ensure that Stead Manor can provide safe and high-quality affordable housing to current and future residents, RHA has decided to renovate the property. RHA will renovate this property and substantially rehabilitate all 68 units. This project represents an investment of an estimated $20 million for affordable housing in the community.
